A People’s Choice quilt block contest will return to the Greene County Fair as a fundraiser for Greene County 4-H.
Exhibitors may enter one 12-1/2″ by 12-1/2″ quilt block in a color and pattern of their choice. Winners are determined by the public with donations; each cent donated equals one vote for a favorite quilt block. ($1 = 100 votes). Last year organizers were able to donate $146 to the 4-H dog project club for the purchase of equipment for dog agility training.
Blocks should be entered in the contest Thursday, July 10, from 1 to 7 pm in the Open Class area of Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Blocks may be picked up Sunday, July 13, between 4 and 5 pm.
